easter fun...

Ok so Easter Sunday commemorates Jesus Christ's resurrection, but for a lot of families in the UK is also means Easter Eggs! We certainly had plenty here.

The Easter bunny also leaves us little surprises hidden round the garden for the children to find:

As we had promised Lady K we also put some eggs into the incubator that Roy got last Christmas:

We got our eggs from my mum, she had breeding pairs and these have a higher chance of being fertile.

The blue eggs are Araucana and the white eggs Lakenvelder.

We have marked the eggs with an 'x' as we need to turn them several times a day to mimic the mother hen - you can also get incubators that do this for you!

Hopefully after 21 days we will hatch a few chicks.
