Moving on....

Now the cockerels have begun to crow it is time to move them on, unfortunately the Lackenvelder has become too noisy to keep.

We have advertised for a good home for the 2 boys - they will be going to a farm where they can crow til their hearts content!

Gardening!

I hate gardening, or rather I hate weeding. Our front has untidy, messy flower borders which seem to produce weeds at a phenomenal rate so I decided it was time to do something about them.

After a lot of studying of other peoples garden on the walks home from school each day I decided that I would like to lay some stones and have a few feature plants.

One busy day, layers of plastic and 2 tonnes of stones later and we are done!

Weeding is no more!

I also planted a small vegetable garden - I know, I know - it will need weeded too, but it is only small!
